- My name is Jessica Entis (Calger459 elsewhere on the internet). I hold a BFA in painting from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and am currently working on a second BFA in animation at CCAD. After graduating from Miami in 2001 I taught art at an elementary/junior high school for two years. Deciding that teaching was not my calling, I joined the JET program and fufulled one of my travel dreams, to visit Japan. I lived there for a year (July '03 to July '04) teaching English. It was an amazing experience, and a lot of my art right now involves Japanese themes, both popular (anime and manga) and traditional. To read the latest news about what I'm up to, visit my LiveJournal, "The Employed Otaku". Fanasty art will probably always be my favorite genre, hence why the Griffin is still the theme of my gallery.
- I started this website in 1997 with only a few pictures and a lot of ideas. This site has grown and changed tremendously since then. I code all the HTML on this site myself, and though my expertise is somewhat limited I try to make each new layout better than the last. I extend special thanks to Michael Graff of Flame.org who graciously allows my site to reside on his ad-free server. Thank you so much!
