Affiliated Sites--These are some of my other websites, which should also have content that interests you (hopefully):

Entis Animation --I'm an artist and animator by profession, and this is my online portfolio/gallery. Please stop by for a visit!

The Griffin's Lair -- My old website for my artwork. I've left it up as an archive, though it will no longer be updated.

The Employed Otaku--My Live Journal. From July of 2003 to July 2004 I lived in Japan, teaching English with the JET Programme. I chronicled my adventures in the journal--with pictures!

Fanfiction.net--My fanfiction author page.

DeviantArt.com--My Deviant Art gallery.

Rubberslug.com--My animation cel gallery. I don't have the money to collect cels anymore, but I'm proud of what I have ^_^

Anime Music Videos.org--My AMV member page. So far I only have one Rurouni Kenshin video, set to The Rhythm of the Heat by Peter Gabriel. You can download it from my member page.

Ebay.com--My Ebay member page. This is just here as a business reference, in case I'm ever selling something or you want to commission art from me ^_^

Okay, now for the rest of the internet. Have fun!

Fanfiction links:

My personal favorites list--Fanfiction.net's author services allow you to display your favorite stories, but I have too many to keep on my author page, so I decided to list them here. Generally I select fics based on originality of plot and the quality of the writing. I'm actually pretty picky, but I've been reading fanfiction for so long my list has gotten quite lengthy. If you're looking for quality reading, give my list a try! ^_^

Fanfiction.net--Gigantic fanfiction archive of just about every tv show or book you can think of, has an entire section devoted to anime.

A Wander's Fanfiction Archive--Great source of Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction.

The Akabeko--Source of some great Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction, written by Tae-san.

Meiji Tales--A new but growing fanfiction archive. This essentially took the place of Mir's Tales from the Meiji Era archive. This site hosts some of my fanfiction ^_^

Haku Baikou--A very nicely designed fanfiction and RK multimedia archive. Focuses primarily on fan-produced work: wallpapers, fanart, fanfiction, etc. My stories are also archived here :)

Schnoogle: Novel-Length Harry Potter Fanfiction--I really like Harry Potter, and this a great source of good fanfiction. I especially recommend "A Paradigm of Uncertainty" by Lori and "I am Lord Voldemort" by Nemesis.

Anime-related links:

Anime Web Turnpike--Excellent source of anime links, has about every series you could want :)

Anime Music Videos.org--This is the ultimate source of Anime Music Videos. If you can, please make a donation so everyone can keep sharing their work. Downloading bandwidth is, unfortunately, very expensive >_<;;

Maigo-chan's Ruroken translations--If you've never read the Rurouni Kenshin manga, this is the site for you! Maigo-chan's translation is excellent and is presented so you can enjoy it without owning the manga.

S.O.S. Save Our Sailors! Campaign--This website for 8 years organized letter and promotion campaigns for the show. Their work is over for the moment, but their site still has a lot of good information for those interested in Sailor Moon.

Usagi's House--A very nice anime cel shop :)

Animenation.com--One of the larger online anime stores.

Celga.com--This great site allows you to bid for rare anime items and animation cels on Yahoo!Japan. Great customer service and reasonable fees make this a place well worth checking out :)

Other interests:

JP NET Kimono--A very informative (and colorful) site on Japan's national costume, the Kimono, an elegant garment that I just love ^_^

The JET Programme--The Japan Exchange and Teaching program is an international effort to promote understanding between Japan and other nations through cultural exhange. Basically, you get to live and work in Japan as an assistant language teacher (ALT) for up to three years. I only stayed for one year, but it was an amazing experience. If you have a college degree, need a well-paying job and have always wanted to see Japan, then consider appyling. Good luck! ^_^

Saga-ken--This is the prefecture in Japan I lived in; it's in the southern part of Japan on the island of Kyushuu.

Western Hills Kung Fu and Tai-Chi Center--Interested in real martial arts? I trained for a while in Tien Shan Pai, a style of Kung-Fu (a Chinese martial art). This is my school's website.

Hyenapaws Studio: Cara Mitten's Fantasy Art--appreciate good art? Cara Mitten's work is amazing! This link is to her Deviant Art page.

Aimee's Studio--Aimee Major's artwork is amazing; she is currently working as an animator, which is one of my future career goals, so it's always great to see what she's working on.

Ginzuishou Plus!--Brian Bork's site has some great Sailor Moon fanart. Well worth a look!

Hocus Pocus: A Harry Potter fan site--as the name implies, this one focuses on Harry Potter, which I'm a big fan of :) This site has lots of good information, a nice layout, and great fanart, much of it produced on Oekaki, a marvelous internet art program that allows you to create and post art to forums and recieve feedback. Very addictive and fun ^_^

The Kanji Site--I'm slowly trying to learn Japanese on my own. This site is a fantastic introduction to the written language, and has an invaluable database of kanji and their meanings.

Bitey Castle -- animator Adam Phillips in Austrialia makes amazing personal films in Flash. They have to be seen to be believed!

Animation Collective -- One of the few active 2D studios in the US, this is the company I'm hoping to apply to soon to work ^_^
