Earned BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and focuses in ceramics and printmaking. Graduated May 2001.

Work Experience

2003-2004 Assistant Language Teacher
Joined the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher), worked in several high schools in Saga Prefecture, Kyushu Island, Japan. Responsible for assisting supervising teacher in English curriculum preparation, classroom instruction, and cultural exchange.

2001-2003 Art Educator
Art instructor at St. Veronica School in Newtown, OH. Responsible for the development and execution of the art curriculum for grades K-8, including instruction in art history and the development of artistic skills through experience with various media and techniques.
