The Battles

I took pictures of two battles, the main field battle and the bridge battle.

Main Field Battle

The armies had to march to the battle, of course. Some walked in quietly, some with a lot of show, some singing, some drumming. All in all, I thought the singing and drumming together made for a nice entrance.

[pic] Those nutty Tuchucks.

I took almost as many pictures of the preparation for battle as I did of the battle itself.

The actual battle. Next year, I will get a better camera with a nice zoom lense.

[pic] The marshals kept everyone mostly safe. Here, a hold was called.

[pic] Unlike "real" battles, most of the defeated fighters walked off this field.

After the main battle was over, some energetic fighters played around a bit with single combat. I had to get a few pictures, of course.

[pic] The Baron and Baroness of Carolingia, East Kingdom, were present at the battle. The Baron had fought in the battle.

Bridge Battle

[pic] This waterbearer was kind enough to let me get a picture of his tabard. I liked it for obvious reasons.

Misc. Battle Pictures

[pic] [pic] Machines of mass descruction. These were used in the final field battle, but I didn't get to see them in action.
